Dear Jean,

"I am wrong in many things, but I was assured that my answer was RIGHT, Becuase I told her what the Lord Jesus said, not my words."

Amen. That is a perfect statement and brings me joy.

Hi JD. I commend your honesty. I was witnessing to a woman the other weekend who asked me, How do you know your way is right? Honestly I didnt know what to say, All I managed to say to her was, The Lord Jesus said He is the ONLY way, there is no other way to Heaven.

I am wrong in many things, but I was assured that my answer was RIGHT, Becuase I told her what the Lord Jesus said, not my words. We can never go wrong when we BELIEVE what God says...We all get things wrong, we dont know anything, but what God requires of us is that we trust in Him. The greatest evil is not to trust God. We can argue about doctrine and this and that, but at the end of the day, what really matters is do we TRUST God.

After reading through multiple posts I have had much time to reflect prior to commenting. Living the "religious life" is not for me. In no way shape or form does God want his children living on this earth feeling ashamed or like a piece of trash. The way a lot of the people talk on this website they are so humbled to God which is a great thing, but does that mean you go through everyday feeling wrong insignificant in the Lords shadow. No live your life with good intentions and have a relationship with God. Talk to him everyday not only Sunday. Be on this earth and have a good time live a full life not one of hate, humility, and disappointment or the feeling of continually letting someone down. I 100% truly believe this is not what God wanted for us. I am not perfect I realize that. This is my belief and I don’t see how it makes me less correct then any of the people on this site. The truth of the matter is not one person on this site can say they are 100% correct in their beliefs.

“Now, God, who sees through all deceptions, knows that there is no goodness whatever in us. He says that "there is none righteous, no not one." He knows that "all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags," and, therefore the Lord Jesus did not come into the world to look after goodness and righteousness with him, and to bestow them upon persons who have none of them. He comes, not because we are just, but to make us so: he justifieth the ungodly.”

Maybe I am ignorant to the scripture and that’s fine, but after reading some posts I see that the biggest problem is….you all think you are right. I know I’m not. I am a dog with a bone and I will run with what I got.

That is the difficulty of being a preacher, and reminds me of this quote.

"For religious progress is always accompanied by a higher insight that can never be described satisfactorily to persons without the same experience"

This way, men can't glory in bringing others to salvation.

The preaching of the cross is indeed foolishness to them that are perishing. But we should never be discouraged or get ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. There is power in the cross of Christ!
